What are the limitations of the free trial?
The free trial includes every feature of FileWrench with no time limit and no sign-up required. The only restriction is a batch size limit of 5 files per operation, which is perfect for evaluating whether the app fits your workflow.
How many Macs can I use my license on?
One Full Lifetime License covers all the Macs you personally own and use. Install it on your desktop and laptop without buying twice — the license is tied to you, not to a single machine.
How do I receive updates?
Updates are delivered through the app itself: FileWrench automatically checks for new versions at launch and lets you install them with one click. All future updates are free for lifetime license holders.
Which versions of macOS are supported?
FileWrench runs natively on macOS 12 Monterey and later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. We keep compatibility with the latest macOS releases through regular free updates.
What is your refund policy?
If FileWrench does not work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no complicated forms or questions asked. We would rather have a happy non-customer than a frustrated one.
Is it safe to use on my files?
Absolutely. FileWrench processes everything locally on your Mac — no file ever leaves your machine, and no data is uploaded anywhere. Renaming operations also show a full preview before anything is applied, so nothing changes without your confirmation.
